In Conversation with Hugh Pym – Monday 16th May 2022
We are delighted to announce the next contributor to our speaker series. Join us on Monday 16th May 2022 from 6:30 pm for an evening with the BBC’s Health Editor, Hugh Pym. The journalist and author will be joining us for what promises to be a fascinating evening exploring the challenges for the media in reporting on Covid-19.
Hugh has been reporting on politics, economics, public spending and NHS finance for more than two decades. He was a correspondent for ITN and has co-authored several books including Inside The Banking Crisis. Hugh has been reporting on the impacts of the pandemic both globally and in the UK, exploring topics such as the impact of Government television briefings during the crisis and the ongoing effects on the NHS and patient safety. We would be delighted to have you join us for what is guaranteed to be a thought-provoking and insightful evening.

The talk will start at 7:00 pm, with drinks and canapés served (with no charge) from 6:30 pm. The suggested donation amount of £30 is optional but would be much appreciated. All proceeds from this event will go to The ClementJames Centre.
