Come and learn about a free tech course taking place at ClementJames
Find out about a not to be missed, exciting new project to get local people aged 16+ into tech jobs. With support from SKY, local community organisations like ClementJames and businesses, The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation is launching Get Into Tech: North Kensington.
They are offering a 15 week course beginning on September 3rd, it’s free and exclusively for people who live in North Kensington.
To encourage people to join the course and to know more about the great jobs available in tech we are holding weekly sessions leading up to the course which will take place every Monday from May 14th. No previous experience or qualifications needed, just interest and enthusiasm and everyone’s welcome. If you’ve got a laptop bring it with you. If not, we’ll provide one for you to use.
At these weekly meetings, people will get to know the basics of technology and be able to talk to some of our tech partners about employment. Those who want to apply for the course can do so in July with 16 places available. The course itself will take place in North Kensington as well as at the SKY campus in Osterley.

This programme is inclusive and relaxed, we want to make sure everyone 16+ in North Kensington has the chance to take up this FREE immersive training opportunity and help them start or move into a career in tech.
